The data on mineral and chemical composition of the Vasilkovskoye deposit ore are presented. The ore processing flow sheet is given, including three-stage crushing in jaw and cone crushers, fine crushing in high-pressure grinding rolls (HPGR), one-stage grinding to 90 % –0.074 mm size fraction, rougher concentrate regrinding to 95 % –0.045 mm size fraction, flotation and gravity concentration with application of centrifugal separators, separation flotation with production of gold concentrate for pyrometallurgical processing and tailings to be processed by means of hydrometallurgical stage. The reagents' regime is described. The design metallurgical results, not currently achieved, are mentioned. In order to solve this problem, experiments have been conducted with the view to study effect of water, added to the process, regarding the metallurgical performance indicators, with the experiments' results being analyzed in this article. To minimize gold losses with processing tailings, an optimal water mixture ratio from different sources feeding the plant, is recommended.
