Abstract

The article maintains data to characterize such raw gold source, as deposits of coal, peat, ferruginous quartzites and phosphorites. In quartzites deposits of Russia, Ukraine, South African Republic, Zimbabwe, Canada, Australia and Brasilia there is to be found 5% gold from its contents in all industrial deposits. The potential raw source for gold are ores dumps and tails of dry and wet magnetic separation, which are formed by treatment of magnetite ores. The anomalous concentration of gold were revealed in brown coals and peats deposits; organic matter is the main “host” for gold. Availability of about 100 coal deposits with anomalous gold contents were determine (sometimes dozens and hundreds gram per ton). Objects such as are known in 15 countries, larger part of them is situated in Russia and China. Gold may concentrate itself in the ashes from off-gas systems; its content in finest fraction is ten times higher then its content in initial solid fuel. Considerable amount of ashes-slag wastes is by-products of thermal electric power stations activity. The content of gold in these solid residues from burning down of fuel is 10–15 times higher than in initial coal. Major source of natural gold containing high-volume materials are phosphorite ores, products of volcanic activity and carbonate-clay rocks (dolomites, marls, calcareous grits). Big source of nature highvolume materials, contents gold of gold are roasting calcines (product of sulfuric acidsulfuric acid plants) and slime fraction of municipal sewage are the technogenic resources of gold.
