The major condition of maintenance of peak efficiency of labor process at the enterprises of the USA is labor mobility of the personnel thanks to what on manufacture the minimum necessary number of workers is occupied. Each worker owns two and more specialities. Number of the personnel at the enterprises of the USA can be less than a technics available available as one of the main criteria of production efficiency is maximization of use of available human resources, instead of means. For example, at car failure, the worker can be involved for management of a grader, a dredge, polishing and irrigating car and etc. At the expense of reduction of number of the personnel the payment fund is distributed on smaller number of people that allows to support high level of a salary of workers. Presence in staff of the enterprises of workers-versatile persons allows to use as much as possible effectively their professional skills by those cars and the equipment which are most claimed at present and on which the given worker can reach the best results. Realization of a principle of interchangeability of workers is reached not only at the expense of the internal organization at the enterprises, but also at the expense of flexibility of the legislation of the USA. To have some qualifications, to the worker it is independent enough (without training in educational institutions) to seize the skills necessary for work by the operator of this or that equipment. The similar principle allows the enterprise to hold staff of highly skilled specialized workers which effectively participate in production. On the majority of coal cuts of the USA it is applied dieselhydraulic transpor equipment more expensive in operation on consumption of fuel. However mobility of such equipment allows to use as much as possible effectively it on production and loading works. The methods of the organization of work considered above and manufacture allow to raise efficiency of use of the personnel of the coal-mining enterprises, labor productivity and finally — competitiveness of the enterprises.
