Belt conveyor functioning in various exploitation conditions can be represented with quality models reflecting the correlation of entry parameters (influence factors) with output single indexes or generalized (complex) criteria. For modeling the quality of belt conveyors it is offered to execute the selection of indexes which in the best way represent their technological effectiveness, working capacity, reliability and ergonomics. Thus on the basis of expert estimation methods, a correlation analysis and optimization of number of indexes there were defined the significant indexes which made the greatest impact of entry parameters on the work of conveyor. Probabilistic models of reliability were grounded according to the exploitation data for the following indexes: probability of conveyor failure, working for a failure taking into account a scatter of its values, intensity of failures and restorations, reliability coefficients: readiness Kг, technical usage Кти and sage Ки. The formulated selections of failures and restorations have been treated by the methods of statistics and there were obtained the regularities which, depending on the coefficient of exploitation difficulties Кт, allow to define the values of the specified indexes. Values of ergonomic indexes were defined by the data of vibrodiagnostics of the elements of magnetic conveyors drives. For criterion of vibrodanger the Kв coefficient was taken that characterizes vibrodanger on the factory covers, the value of which was defined as a ratio of vibration indexes measured in actual practice and those admissible for human life activities. Economic and technical indexes were defined according to standard documents, the results of experimental researches or simulation models of functioning of conveyors. As single indexes there were accepted: productivity, power capacity of transportation, the characteristics of load traffic, life expectancy of elements of the conveyor and the cost of repair work. The received values of operation indexes of belt conveyor depending on Kт have allowed to make the comparative analysis on a complex index of quality Кi of conveyors of different length, operated in the conditions such as Kт = 60 points and Kт = 30 points. It is determined that the offered technique of defining the output indexes of belt conveyors can be used at constructing and projecting the conveyors for mining manufactures. Work is executed with support of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation within the limits of the complex project 3 2010-218-01-001 on creation high-technological the manufacture executed with we will speed up the Russian higher educational institution.
