The effectiveness of adsorption of uranium determined by the degree of its extraction, purification and concentration, and the basic requirements of the process are the maximum capacity of the sorbent and the selectivity at high kinetic rates of adsorption and regeneration of uranium. On this basis, a technology research define parameters such as sorption capacity, the number of stages of adsorption, one-time loading of the sorbent, contact time of the solution, the conditions of desorption, which directly or indirectly related to each other, reflect the basic physical and chemical laws of statics and kinetics of adsorption, and also largely depend on the hardware design process. To determine these parameters by the authors, specialists Branch Agency for Nuclear and Radiation Safety Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan, were investigated by activated charcoal, rice husks, peac and apricot shell. The most effective of the investigated sorbents local shell was apricot. Experimental work established that the sorption of uranium takes place most effectively in the shell particles with a diameter of 1 mm when heating the solution to a temperature of 40–50 °C. Further studied the properties of the shell in the technology of apricot extract uranium from sulfuric acid solutions. To study the sorption process in the dynamic mode is selected the solution with pH = 3,9 and a uranium content of 0.023 g/l, passed through 20 g of apricot shell with a particle size of d = 1 mm, with a flow rate of water of 100 ml/h for 25 hours. The dependence of extraction and sorption of uranium in time for the duration of the sorption process up to 20 hours . The optimal temperature extraction of uranium increases from 4.8 to 95.7%. In serial experiments studied the effect of solution flow rate on the extraction of uranium. It is established that a decrease in solution flow rate increases the sorption process. Sorption process can also control the pH readings at the output. The maximum uranium extraction is achieved at 10-12 days of exposure of the sorbent in the solution. Thus, according to a study the possibility of using local materials, sorbents for extraction of uranium from mining waste water engineering and uranium mining companies in Tajikistan found most effective for this purpose sorbent — apricot shell, installed and approved by the optimal technological parameters of the sorption of uranium.
