Abstract

Researches and creation of computer simulation system «OreFlow» of ore mining and transportation in underground mines were done in the year 2008 in the Mining institute UrB RAS on the instructions of JSC «Uralkali». The software package «OreFlow» allows to create models of mining operations, which simulate work of combine complexes and conveyor transports. It allows analyzing for dynamic of mining and transport techniques’ parameters; allows investigating ore’s quality parameters in mining and transporting processes; allows evaluating the workload and the productivity of mine’s conveyor system. The main difference of developed methodologies in software package «OreFlow» from modern approaches to mining and freight flows simulations is the closed kind of simulation model: all parameters of the system (the position of techniques, the changing states of other technical devices’) interact in closed cycle, i.e. the user isn’t required to define the incoming on the conveyor ore flows by the method of generating random parameters.
