Abstract

Problems of complex estimation of influence of the nuclear branch enterprises on environment are considered. Necessity of application of geoinformation and intellectual information systems for estimation of technogenic influence of objects of the industry on environment is shown. Concept, structure, and functions of the geoinformation expert modeling complex ARIA are presented. The complex consists of interacting geoinformation, modeling and expert analysis systems. Geoinformation system designed to create and display digital terrain models, potentially dangerous objects and recipients. The modeling system allows to calculate the radionuclide atmospheric dispersion and their effect on recipients. The expert analysis system consists of two modules. The first module is designed to determine the radionuclides dispersion model and its parameters. The second module allows the analysis of the radiation environment and generates recommendations for minimizing the radioactive substances effects onto population. The complex is designed for postaccident assessment, and emergency planning in the case of accidental release of radioactive substances into the atmosphere. The application programme created on the base of the proposed concept is presented. The ARIA complex can be used by experts of the emergency technical centres, departments of the environment preservation.
