Abstract

The paper presented short analysis of accident risks and injuries at coal pits of Russia, connected with methane explosions and flares. The new approach to designing of coal pits ventilation, based on 3D simulation of aero-gasdynamics processes has been proposed. The results of numerical calculations of diffusion processes in stratified flows have been shown.
