Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Combinat State Company (NMMC) has been established in 1958 and now it’s multidisciplinary industrial enterprise, which not only exploration, extractions and productions of gold, uranium, phosphorites, building material, marble production, but also produce emulsion explosion materials, sulphur materials, sulphur acid, liquid glass, polyethylene and PVC pipes and jewelry, machine building and consumer electronics, such as turners, milling, drilling, grinding, wood-working machines; repair parts for ore mining and technological equipments for balance-of-plant needs. Five cities have been building, using modern projects, in sophisticated natural climatic conditions. These cities are staying at NMMC balance and have comfortable available housing, child welfare centers and schools, shops and hospitals, objects of cultural and everyday aspects of social life, swimming pools, and other sport facilities, relax areas, man-made lakes. Railway and automobile roads, water conduits, objects of energy supplying have been built. General industrial objects have been presented by underground mines and quarries, hydrometallurgical plants, sulfuric plant, workshop of heap leaching of gold, fields of underground downhole uranium leaching, car repair shops and repair-mechanical plants, building industrial bases. Explored and prospective resources of mineral resources provide the Combine work, its investment attractiveness and competitive ability in long-term perspective.
