The results of researches of talk-carbonate rocks, simplified estimate of technical-economical talk parameters and talk stone in blocks have been presented. The expediency of usage karelian talk stone of apoultramafite type in blocks with production of heat-retaining furnaces, fireplaces, facing tiles and other goods on its base have been substantiated.
