Abstract
Influence of pulp viscosity on classification process in a hydrocyclone has been researched via specially developed devices. It has been established, that size of boundary separating grain d50c is proportional to pulp viscosity by 0,35 degree. This relationship has been put in the existed Plitt equation for d50c computation in order to obtain modified model of classification in hydrocyclone.
keywords Mineral pulp, viscosity, temperature, hydraulic cyclone, fineness of boundary grain.
