This paper characterizes the state of mining-metallurgical industry in CIS countries. The results of activity of non-ferrous metallurgical enterprises in 2000-2009 and prospects of their further development have been shown. The volumes of manufacture of individual types of metal production has been presented. The main projects in metallurgical area, realized in the countries of Commonwealth of Independent States in 2000-2009 have been presented.
