Abstract

Researches on influence of new ferriferous depressor galena, a paramagnetic material, in comparison with sulphitic technology of division of a collective copper-lead concentrate were conducted. The best results on depression of galena in a process of monomineral flotation were obtained at pH 5.5–6, when sodium sulfite and iron vitriol were replaced by paramagnetic material. Optimum results on selection of copper-lead concentrate of Artemyevskoe field were obtained by using paramagnetic material at narrate pH range of 5.6–5.8. Copper concentrate contained copper — 30.8%, lead — 5.3% with copper extraction to copper concentrate — 82.4%. Lead concentrate contained lead — 51.08%, copper — 1.57%, with lead extraction to lead concentrate 74%. It was shown, that new galena depressor allows to exclude from process of selection sodium sulphite and iron vitriol and to receive conditioned heteronymic concentrates.
