Реферат

When optimizing the roll grooves for section rolling, it is necessary to use a structural mathematical model of the rolling process. This model allows for the calculation of metal deformation in the grooves and the energy-force parameters of rolling, and meets the requirements of versatility, high accuracy, and short calculation times for computer implementation. Based on a study of the general principles of roll pass design for various profiles, both simple and complex, a universal geometric model of the deformation zone has been developed. This model is suitable for analyzing the rolling process of a billet with any cross-sectional shape in a two-roll groove of any shape. Equations describing the boundaries of this deformation zone have been derived. A method for dividing the deformation zone into characteristic zones differing in the geometric characteristics of the roll sections and the nature of the deformation occurring is proposed.
