The article discusses the experience of training bachelors in metallurgy at the Siberian State Industrial University, based on a practice-oriented project approach and the involvement of an industrial partner in the process of developing and implementing educational programs. The article presents the image of a graduate of an engineering bachelor’s degree, a model of the curriculum, the logistics of the educational process, and the experience gained in the formation of resource provision. The sequence of project modules is considered, their topics, logical connection and features of joint implementation with partner enterprises are indicated. The approaches used at the university, providing students with the opportunity to obtain additional qualifications within the framework of mastering the bachelor’s degree program are given. The characteristics of the main software products “Project Showcase” and “Project Factory” developed and used at the Siberian State Industrial University for the organization, support and assessment of project activities are given. The tools for forming the personnel ensuring the implementation of the “Engineering Bachelor’s Degree” are indicated, the competence model of the teacher and the system of assessment of teaching staff implemented by the competition council of the university are presented. The mechanisms used to work with potential applicants for the preparation of motivated applicants oriented towards engineering through the implementation of the projects “Pre-Universarium”, “Engineering Classes”, “Resource Centers” for students of schools in Novokuznetsk and other cities of the southern agglomeration of the Kemerovo Region-Kuzbass are described. |
