Реферат

On April 25, 2025, at the site of Nizhny Novgorod State Technical University named after R. E. Alekseev, the traditional scientific and practical seminar “Innovative engineering solutions in metallurgy and blank production of mechanical engineering” was held. It was organized by the chair staff jointly with the Nizhny Novgorod regional branch of the Russian Foundry Association as a part of the preparation for the 75th anniversary of the department “Metallurgical Technologies and Equipment”. The event discussed issues of ensuring technological sovereignty in domestic metallurgy and mechanical engineering, as well as resource conservation, environmental safety, digitalization and automation of existing production. Representatives of more than 30 industrial enterprises, research and production companies, research organizations and universities prepared reports and messages at the seminar, dedicated to current issues of metallurgy and procurement production of mechanical engineering. Among the innovative solutions of the seminar participants that aroused the greatest interest were: waste-free technologies in the processes of recycling non-ferrous metals and alloys; import substitution in various areas of foundry production; issues related to powder production technologies; additive technologies for the manufacture of parts; production of foundry equipment; studies of structural anomalies in steel and cast iron; modification of cast metal matrix composites; advanced materials and equipment for blank production and a number of others.
