Реферат

Development forecast for the Russian industrial enterprises, including iron and steel enterprises, sets the new tasks before designers to provide reliable electric power supply for reconstructed and newly constructed production facilities. It is an actual task in connection with importance of steel products for many sectors of the national economy, especially for mechanical engineering, construction and defense industry, where steel and cast iron are the main materials. To build a reliable electric power supply system for a metallurgical enterprise, it is important to consider various factors which can affect on such system. Use of controlled electric drive allowing to carry out electric power saving and to improve technological management can be considered as one of these factors. The article presents rational and efficient areas of application of this drive. Other important factors which should be also taken into account at construction of electric power supply systems at the iron and steel works are presented. The operating features of electric power supply systems are observed and presented in the form of demonstrative block diagram. The offered approach will allow to carry out the process of designing electric power supply systems with higher quality and to improve reliability of technological operations.
