Abstract

Prognos AG company has analyzed the consequences of the EC policy that is unilaterally oriented in the area of climate and energy on the example of the system for trading by emissions rights in Germany. Politically caused deterioration of price competitiveness of the iron and steel industry for itself and for its chains with added value, as well as for economics in general is observed.
