The article describes the approach and results of forecasting stability parameters based on seismic studies in the course of building transport tunnels under the city of Sochi (2010-2013 years) and access drifts in coal mines. The analysis of the results of the discussed techniques and technologies demonstrates the reliable early forecast of dangerous geological and dynamic events based on the assessment of the structure and stress state of rocks in the vicinity of underground workings.
The work is conducted under state assignment for scientific works no. 2014/235.
