Abstract

The article focuses on the topical point of integrated informatization of safety monitoring in Gubkin’s Mine of the KMAruda Integrated Works where goaf area is composed of 595 mined-out stopes 55 million cubic meters in overall volume. In conformity with the Federal Law on Industrial Safety of Hazardous Production Facilities, No. 116-FZ, Gubkin’s Mine carries out industrial safety monitoring under approved production procedure, the efficiency of which is in many ways governed by the monitoring informatization that includes three phases:
— building of database composed of initial surveying documents as well as legislation and regulations on the industrial safety;
— design of function modules for automated industrial safety monitoring;
— development and introduction of computer technologies for industrial safety in ferrous quartzite mining in Gubkin’s Mine, operational and process control of stability of mined-out stopes, rib pillars, panel barriers and a crown pillar.
The automated industrial safety monitoring system (AISM) consists of a program core and two function modules: industrial safety monitoring and surveying. The system implements automated decision-making on surveying issues associated with safety of mined-out stopes, estimates stability of rib pillars, panel barriers and a crown pillar, yields prediction estimate of overlying rock failure. AISM system passed the experimental check under production conditions in the KMAruda Integrated Works, was tested based on the stability observation data in mined-out stopes and has been successfully operated for 10 years.
