This article considers the modern status of conditions of construction of drainage systems and prospect direction of improvement of method and technical means of dehumidifying of mineral deposits. There are shown the most significant disadvantages in construction of drainage systems. As a rule, nowadays, construction is carried out from the levels, which systems stay two- or three-circuit. Barrage system includes installation of dewatering wells, constructed from the surface. Excavation and growth of mining depth leads to changing of this technology by dehumidifying, using systems of uprising drain holes, backfilled from underground excavations. In connection with discrete placing of water-decreasing and uprising drain wells, there are saved the conditions for formation of groundwater skip into protected open pit. In these conditions, for the purpose of minimization of water inflows, there are applied the horizontal drainage systems, which came from the benches of open pit edge. Most of these modern drain systems are constructed from three levels: from the surface, from underground excavations and from benches of open pit edges. The foregoing makes this task extremely complex, because each considered level requires application of special technologies and technical means. Solving of ecological problems is complex. Development of VIOGEM Institute radically changes the drain system construction conditions, offering the structure of combined drain unit and construction of single-circuit drain system from one level (from benches of open pit edge). New drain unit is constructive unification of horizontal and uprising drain system.
