Abstract

There was offered a method of cooling of mine air, using mine waters, accumulated in processed excavation on upper horizon of mine, joined to neutral earth layer, which temperature is 10-12 °С. Shaft waters are cooled during 24 hours for the temperature of 11-13 °С. After that, they are supplied on working horizon in air washer for mine air temperature lowering. This method makes possible to apply the sprayer air water-evaporation cooling in underground chambers for lowering of mine atmosphere temperature to regulatory values. There was developed the mathematical model of heat-exchange process of air water-evaporation cooling of mine atmosphere, which makes possible to define its technical parameters. For the purpose of controlling of cooling process, there was developed a program, which use makes possible to regulate cooling parameters within required values. For the purpose of creation of air-water mixture, there was developed a construction of cooling ejector, which makes possible to form a mixture flame with diameter of up to 6 m and range capability to 25 m. Mine air is cooled as a result of convective heat exchange with water drops and compressed air. According to this, in the time of expansion of mixture flame, there happens the ejection of mine air and its temperature decreasing by 8-10 °C in average. Industrial testings of spray water-evaporation cooling were carried out in underground conditions of mines of Kryviy Rih Iron Ore Combine. At the same time, there was defined the efficiency of cooling of mine air in air washer, using up to 30% of mine waters, in average. Preliminary calculation of costs on mine air cooling by application of spray air water-evaporation method corresponds about its obvious economy, in comparison with air cooling with HPSh-300 (КПШ-300) refrigerating machines.
