Реферат

The top-priority and large-scale challenge of Grib diamond deposit development has become the complicated hydrogeological conditions due to the presence of several aquifers and natural water bodies of commercial fishing importance, namely, the Kukomka river and Volchye and Chernoe lakes. The underground and surface water drainage in the open pit mine field involved: the Kukomka river channel change, construction of the cutoff embankment and pumping station at the Chernoe lake and stage-by-stage formation of the line of dewatering wells along the open pit mine perimeter. In spite of these actions, the underground water breakthroughs, increasing as the open pit mine gets deeper, and the atmospheric fallouts demanded designing and construction of internal water drainage to prevent the open pit mine from flooding. In the first half of 2013, the unique automated water drainage plant had been designed for the open pit mine of V. Grib Mining and Processing Combine (MPC). The water drainage plant embraces the world’s highest achievements of the technique and technology in the related range of interest: Multiflo pumps manufactured by Weir Minerals, plastic and rubberreinforced pipes, frequency converters, controllers, communication facilities, communication media and automation equipment. The plant control is local, from a dispatching point or an automated control system operator’s room of MPС. Currently, the first water lifting pump station is under assembly and launch preparation.
