Abstract

This article shows the results of research of correlation between various external factors and parameters of general-purpose conveyor, which made possible to define, that coarseness of bulk cargo makes the biggest influence on its working efficiency among the whole amount of significant factors. According to this, the following operations are realized:
-service life of reference elements is decreased;
-resistance to the movement of belt on carrying rollers is increased;
-costs on reduction of working ability of conveyor are increased.
There is shown that correlation connection is decreased (Kv = 0.3 0.5) with increasing of slope angle of conveyor. Absolute connections (complexity of exploitation, safety of bulk cargo transportation) and relative connections (power consumption, reliability and cost) between parameters and factors were substantiated for creation of adequate models. There are given the regularities of their change, depending from the conditions of conveyor exploitation. Efficient areas of application of this conveyor were defined.
