8th ALUMINIUM TWO THOUSAND CONGRESS (14-18 May 2013, Milano, Italy)
29.06.2012The Aluminium Two Thousand World Congress has reached its 8th Edition which will be held in Milano, Italy, from 14 to 18 May 2013, following the great successful participation of the past edition in Bologna 2011 and the previous ones.
This event is organized by Interall Srl (Aluminium Publications) and promoted by important European Aluminium Associations, Industries and Universities.
Among the Universities and Institutes promoting the Event there is DIEM-TECH, the Engineering Dept. of Bologna University, already well known for R&D on extrusion technologies.
The Congress will deal with Metallurgy, Extrusion, Surface Finishing, Corrosion, environmental technologies and all the most important subjects related to the Aluminium Industry.
Three parallel sessions for three full days will ensure, by mean of 100 papers, that all subjects will be covered in detail and, on top of that, the technical team of the organizing committee will take care of evaluating the presentations and giving priority to the selection of innovative studies and researches, new industrial applications and case histories.
During the Congress a special session dedicated to Russia, the “Russian Day”, a special Focus “Aluminium for Africa and Africa for Aluminium”, an “Anodizing Workshop” and a “Coating Workshop” handled by International Experts.
One full session for Casting and Die Casting dedicated to innovative technologies and applications held by Diem-Tech, Engineering dept. of Bologna University.
During the 4th day of the Congress a specific “Extrusion Workshop” is also foreseen, organized and handled by DIEM-TECH, the Engineering Dept. of Bologna University.
LEONARDO DA VINCI, who mainly worked as scientist and artist in Milano, will be the inspiring Genius of the innovative ideas presented at Aluminium Two Thousand.
