Реферат | At present, many factories which are associated with precious metals production, have to separate metallized particles from minerals without using water. Especially it is urgent at gold-placed mines uncovered in arid regions, and in certain fragments of existing technologies not equipped for performing classic processes of gravity concentration. As opposed to today’s gravity concentration methods, there is the technology developed by Alexander P. Tyukin, key specialist of the technological section, security dept., Metallurgical and mining company “Norilsk Nickel”, JSC, Polar division. This technology uses difference between materials’ friction coefficient and hit restore factor in pair with chosen surface, instead of using only difference in density and geometry. At first, the technology includes preliminary aerodynamical separation of three flows: concentrate, intermediate product and reject. In this phase every particle individually gets irregular acceleration, which is initiated by ram pressure loading created by laminar air flow. Intermediate product hits profiled surface, and according to aforesaid physical properties, particles of different components bounce off in different directions with different speeds providing extra separation. In experiments performed by author, hit separation made it possible to reduce circulating load of aerodynamical separator by 37.5%. |
