Abstract The paper presents the results of study of adsorption capacity of iron-manganese concretions during sulphatizing calcination in the fluidized-bed unit, using pyrite as sulphatizer and power utilities. It is concluded on possibility of usage of iron-manganese concretions for cleaning of waste gases in metallurgical production with sulphuric dioxide removal.
