Реферат

Experience of operation of DK Recycling and Roheisen company, one of the largest global enterprise in the field of recycling of iron- and zinc-containing wastes, is observed. As soon as recycling of such wastes with large zinc content is very expensive, the compant has started to use coal injection instead of coke injection in its blast furnace practice. General view and layout of PCI plant are presented. This unit has been put into operation on May 12, 2014, and it is shown that no serious problems have been occurred. Therefore, injection intensity increased up to 100 kg/t after only 14 days. Monthly injection rates since PCI plant start-up are analyzed. After planned downtime in July–August 2014, injection intensity has been enlarged up to average level 180 kg/t of hot metal. It is concluded that coal replaced coke successfully, and it is planned to rise the facility productivity to 10 t/h.
